Zeba SP

Zeba SP, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is a superabsorbent polymer that absorbs and retains water, releasing it gradually to plants as needed. 

When incorporated into the soil, Zeba SP acts as a reservoir, absorbing excess water during irrigation or rainfall and releasing it to plant roots as the soil dries out. This helps to improve soil moisture retention, reduce water stress, and enhance plant growth and productivity.

Tools Needed

Zeba SP does not require application equipment and comes ready to use. You will need to use a tiller to incorporate it into the soil. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Zeba SP to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For agricultural crops, use 7-10 lbs. of Zeba SP per acre. Refer the label for specific application rates. 
• Step 2: While wearing gloves, spread the Zeba SP below the soil surface of the treatment area then refill with the backfill soil. 

Where to Use

Zeba SP can be used for agricultural crops, small seeded plants, anti-crustant, newly planted trees and vines, soil mix, plant beds, landscapes, localized dry spots, shrub transplants, tree planting transplants, or pot transplants. 

When to Use

Use Zeba SP when you wish to better retain moisture for new or established foliage.

Zeba SP is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product. 

Special Considerations

Zeba SP will not cure any diseases or correct present water build-up on soil surface.
