Vampyre Misting Concentrate

Vampyre Misting Concentrate, manufactured by MGK, is a micro-emulsion, water-based misting concentrate for misting systems and foggers. Vampyre is formulated with pyrethrum which delivers a quick knockdown and is environmentally friendly.

Vampyre is used for the control of a broad-spectrum of flying insects (particularly mosquitoes), and can also be applied indoors as a surface spray, as an outdoor premise treatment, and to spray safely on some animals to repel pests.

Tools Needed

To use Vampyre Misting Concentrate you will need either a misting system, fogger, or hand-pump sprayer as a surface spray. Vampyre works best on mosquito misting systems.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Vampyre Misting Concentrate you will need by first calculating the size of the area being treated. To do this, measure (in feet) the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Vampyre can be mixed at varying rates depending on the dilution ratio you would like. The rates start at 0.04% pyrethrins at 1.6 fl. oz. per gallon of water, all the way up to a 0.50% pyrethrins at 22 fl. oz. per gallon. Use higher rates depending on the severity of the infestation.
• Step 2: In a sprayer of your choice, fill halfway with water, and then add the proper amount of Vampyre Misting Concentrate based on your calculations. Fill with the remaining half-gallon of water and then agitate the sprayer and you will be ready to spray.
• Step 3: Apply the product as a coarse wet spray into cracks and crevices, surfaces, and all other areas you have noticed pest activity. When applying Vampyre Misting Concentrate in misting system applications mix at a rate of 128 ounces per 55 gallons of water.

Vampyre can be used both indoors and outdoors in areas such as homes, apartments, attics, carpets, barns, commercial buildings, backyards, parks, patios, tennis courts, recreational areas, roadsides, playgrounds, automobiles, motels, and many other approved areas. When to Use

Use Vampyre Misting Concentrate when you have an infestation of flying insect pests like mosquitoes, gnats, flies and midges that you want to control. Vampyre Misting Concentrate should also be used for refilling automatic mosquito misting systems.

Safety Information

Vampyre Misting Concentrate is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Please have on the appropriate PPE when handling and mixing Vampyre Misting Concentrate. Keep pets and animals away from the treated area until the product has dried.

Special Considerations

When spraying using a hand-pump sprayer, do not exceed the maximum application rate of 28 fl. oz. of concentrate per 1,000 sq. ft. When using Misting Systems, do not exceed 2 fl. oz. of diluted product per 1,000 ft. per gallon of water per day.
