Tempo Ultra WP Insecticide
04/10/26
Tempo Ultra WP, manufactured by Bayer, is a fast-acting water soluble packet that eliminates a large varieity of insects.
It contains the active ingredient beta-cyfluthrin 10%, which provides a quick kill and lasting residual barrier against multiple insects. Tempo Ultra WP can be used to treat indoor areas as a crack and crevice spray, or on outdoor areas as a broadcast treatment.
Tempo Ultra WP controls the toughest insects that fly, bite, and destroying plants pests such as cockroaches, flies, bed bugs, aphids, and more.
Tools Needed
To apply Tempo Ultra WP, a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or professional spray rig is needed. For crack and crevice treatments, we recommend the handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Tempo Ultra WP you will need by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure (in feet) and multiply the area width times the length (length x width = square footage.) Tempo WP can be mixed at either a 0.025% dilution of 10 g (2 scoops) per gallon of water or a 0.05% dilution at 20 g (4 scoops) per gallon to treat can treat between 1,000 sq. ft. So for example, if you measured 3000 sq. ft. to treat, you would need to mix 6 to 12 scoops of Tempo Ultra WP in at least 3 gallons of water.
- Step 2: For general purpose applications made with a handheld pump sprayer, begin by adding the correct number of scoops into the spray tank while adding the appropriate amount of water. Shake the spray tank until the powder has completely dissolved.
- Step 3: Apply the Tempo Ultra WP solution to cracks, crevices, and surface areas listed while using a coarse, low-pressure spray. Before applying to indoor areas, remove fish tanks and all pets from the room. Wait for areas to dry before re-entering.
Where to Use
Tempo Ultra can be applied to areas where targeted insects and pests are seen and in places where they may be hiding such as buildings, porches, patios, garages, fences, and other areas where pests are found. For indoor applications apply into crack and crevice areas around the baseboards, doorways, windows, plumbing voids, under kitchen and bathroom cabinets, under appliances and more.
Do not apply Tempo Ultra to furniture or upholstery where people make long-term contact, such as mattresses or couches and do make applications on surface areas where food or feed is exposed or handled.
Tempo Ultra is also ideal for outdoor treatments and can be applied around the perimeter of building structures, turfs, lawns, parks, playgrounds, flower beds, and more. It can also be applied as a crack and crevice treatment around eaves, soffits, doorways, windows and weep holes. Do not apply Tempo Ultra to golf course turf.
When to Use
Tempo Ultra can be as a spot treatment spray when pests are seen. It can also be used as a residual barrier spray to prevent an infestation of label listed pests. Applications can be made every 7 to 10 days if needed. Do not apply to turfs more than 6 times a year.
Safety Information
Tempo Ultra is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
