Strobe 50WG Systemic Fungicide
05/26/26
Strobe 50WG from Quali-Pro is the generic brand of Heritage WG Fungicide and is designed to deliver broad-spectrum control and prevention of a number of common plant diseases. The product works systemically by being absorbed through a plant's leaves, crowns and roots to put a stop to disease at any stage of its development. Strobe 50 WG comes in wettable granules and is easy to mix and apply. Use Strobe 50WG to treat common diseases like Anthracnose, Brown Patch Leaf Spot and many others.
Tools Needed
To use Strobe WG, you can use either a backpack sprayer or a hand-pump sprayer.
How to Use

- Step 1: Determine how much Strobe 50 WG you will need for your application by calculating the square footage of the area you wish to treat. To do this, measure (in feet) the area length and width and multiply the two values (length x width = square footage). The recommended rate for Strobe WG is 0.2 oz. to 0.4 oz. per 1 to 2 gallons of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft. For example, if you calculated a 3,000 sq. ft. area to treat, you would need to mix 0.6 to 1.2 ozs. of Strobe WG in 3 to 6 gallons of water.
- Step 2: In a hand-pump sprayer, add half of the required amount of water and then add the appropriate measured amount of Strobe WG based on your calculations. Then fill the sprayer the rest of the way with water and agitate until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spot treat the areas on your lawn where you see the fungal disease. We recommend using a cone fan nozzle tip to get a nice even coating on the infected plant.
- Step 4: Reapply as needed every 14 to 28 days until you no longer see a disease problem. It may take up to two months of diligent treatments to get rid of the disease totally, depending on the disease type.
Where to Use

Strobe 50WG is used to control diseases on turf and ornamentals on golf courses, lawns, and landscaped areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, and athletic fields.
When to Use
Use Strobe 50WG during the growing season when there is disease affecting your lawn, particularly in the summertime when the lawn may be going through stress. You can also apply it preventatively during the growing season.
Safety Information
Strobe 50WG is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Make sure to wear the proper PPE when applying this product (goggles, gloves, face mask, etc). The product is safe for pets and children if used according to label directions. After treatment, keep pets and children away from the treated area until the product dries.
Special Considerations
While Strobe 50 WG can be tank-mixed with other pesticides, it has demonstrated some phytotoxic effects when mixed with emulsifiable concentrates (ECs). These effects are enhanced if applications are made under cool, cloudy conditions, and these conditions remain for several days following application.
