Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer

Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer is specially formulated by Solutions Pest & Lawn and is a granular fertilizer that is best used in the fall to give your lawn the essential nutrients so your plant roots stay strong through the winter and then when Spring arrives, your lawn will green up in the spring, lush and beautifully.

Tools Needed

To apply Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer, you will need to broadcast the product with a push spreader or hand spreader.

How to Use

• Step 1: Cut the grass 1 to 2 days before applying Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer and then calculate the square footage of your lawn (measure and multiply length x width) to determine how much of the product you will need to apply. For most applications you will need to apply 5 pounds of product per 1,000 square feet of turfgrass.
• Step 2: Load your spreader with Solutions Weed & Feed and put the spreader on the correct setting for your specific spreader model (check the spreader manufacturer label for details). If you are unsure which setting to use with your spreader, you can test your spreader settings on 250 sq. ft. of turf. You are aiming to apply at a rate of 1 pound of product per 250 sq. ft., so adjust your settings until this rate is reached. 
• Step 3: Begin broadcasting the product starting at the edge of the lawn and walk all the way around the perimeter of the yard at a steady pace. Then walk back and forth across the yard to cover the space in the middle. Water the lawn 1 to 2 days after applying Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer.

Where to Use

Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer can be used on residential lawns of various grass types. Avoid spreading this product on concrete walks or drives, stucco or asbestos siding since ther fertilizer elements are known to cause permanent stains..

When to Use

For the best results, apply Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer during Fall two or three weeks before the first frost date in your area. In general, early to mid-October would be a good time either in the morning or early evening.

Safety Information

Solutions 8-12-16 Fall Grow Fertilizer is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Please wear the proper PPE (gloves, long-sleeved clothing etc.) before handling or applying the product.

Special Considerations

For best distribution of this product, a rotary type spreade is recommended. Drop spreaders require more care with spreader application patterns.
