Rabbit Scram Professional, manufactured by Enviro Protection Industries, is an organic, granular repellent that is best applied as a protective perimeter barrier around flowers, plots, plants, and shrubs.
Rabbit Scram Professional uses all-natural ingredients that combine to create a smell, mild and safe for humans while deterring rabbits before they begin to nibble on plants and cause damage.
Tools Needed
There are no tools required to apply Rabbit scram as an application scoop is included with the product. We recommend wearing gloves when handling Rabbit Scram.
How to Use
- Step 1: Start by examining lawn, flower beds, and around shrubs for damage and rabbit holes. Then measure the linear feet of the area you wish to treat and the perimeter of the vegetation you wish to protect. One scoop of Rabbit Scram will provide 18 linear feet of 24" repellent strips. So, for example, if you've measured and found that you need to treat 36 linear feet of area, you will need two scoops of Rabbit Scram.
- Step 2: Using provided scoop, apply a 24-inch barrier strip around vulnerable or threatened areas where you want to keep rabbits out. Broadcast or sprinkle lightly for the next 2-3 feet of affected areas.
- Step 3: Repeat application every 30 days as needed, under normal rainfall conditions.
Where to Use
Rabbit Scram Professional is meant for outdoor use only in your lawn, around flower beds, gardens, shrubs, and trees.
When to Use
Apply Rabbit Scram when you have experienced invading rabbits on your property that have caused damage to plants. It is best to apply the bait early in the morning before rabbits are likely to be active.
Safety Information
Rabbit Scram is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.
Keep people and pets out of treated areas until the product has completed dried.
Do not fertilize treated areas with a nitrogen-based fertilizer as it can lead to over-fertilizing and possibly burning your yard.
Special Considerations
If you experience a heavy amount of rainfall, you would want to reapply as the rain could wash the product away.
