P-268 KoroSeal Tank Gasket

P-268 K-Seal Tank Gasket (22028000) by B&G Equipment Company is specifically sold for use as a replacement part for B&G sprayers. The KoroSeal gasket is an important part of the pump assembly as it helps to prevent air from leaking from the mechanism, thus reducing the pressure. These parts experience wear and tear over time and should be replaced periodically.

Tools Needed

To use this part, you will need the appropriate B&G Sprayer to replace the part on and possibly a pair of pliers or a crescent wrench if the parts are tightly secured.

How to Use

• Step 1: Take the pump assembly out of the sprayer tank and begin to take it apart. You can refer to the repair manual instructions for details on how to specifically do this.
• Step 2:After taking apart the assembly, remove the old KoroSeal gasket which sits on the lid area of the cylinder. Then arrange the new gasket in its place. It can easily slide down to the cylinder base.
• Step 3: Put your B&G Sprayer back together and you are back in business.

Where to Use

The KoroSeal Tank Gasket is meant to be used only for replacement on a B&G handpump sprayer such as the N124 and similar models. There are other models it can also fit.

When to Use

Replace the KoroSeal gasket when it has been damaged or you are experiencing a dip in spray pressure quality. How often this part is changed depends on how often you use the sprayer. If it is heavily used, the part wears and tears quicker. Typically at minimum we suggest changing it out annually.

Safety Information

Be sure to wear gloves when handling the B&G sprayer parts, as there may be residue from chemicals or buildup on the sprayer parts.
