The application rate varies depending on the crop or area you wish to treat and can be anywhere between 4 to 16 oz. per acre in 10 to 200 gals of water. Check the label for specifics. Do not apply more than 2 1/8 lbs. of product per crop cycle.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank one-third to one-half full of clean water and then add the required amount of Orthene 97 insecticide to the tank. Agitate the sprayer well and you're ready to apply.
- Step 3: Apply either via ground application making sure to get thorough coverage of the target crop. Apply as close to target plants as practical to obtain a good spray pattern for adequate coverage. Apply as needed every three weeks for continued control.
