NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer, manufactured by Nelson Plant Food, is a OMRI granular fertilizer that promotes vigorous growth and high yields in tomatoes and hemp plants, all while being children and pet-friendly. 

This organic plant food enriches the soil, fostering beneficial microbial activity and nutrient availability. Infused with a NPK ratio of 8-5-5 and ingredients such as feather meal, bone meal, and meat meal which ensures the granules are broken more easily resulting in faster start-ups of new plantings.

Tools Needed

NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer can be applied with a push spreader, broadcast spreader, handheld spreader, or chemical measuring cup.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Apply 20-30 lbs. of NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer per 1,000 sq. ft. for tomatoes and hemps planted in the ground. For raised garden beds, use 1 cup of product per 10 sq. ft. of soil. Refer the label for specific application rates. 
• Step 2: Adjust the spreader calibration, then load the proper amount of NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer.
• Step 3: Spread the NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer evenly across the treatment area. For raised garden bed applications, you will need to mix the product into the top 2 inches of soil. After application, water the granules thoroughly to activate them. 

Where to Use

Use NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer on tomato and hemp plants. 

When to Use

Apply NatureStar Organic Tomato 8-5-5 Fertilizer from March to October.

Mix this product into the soil 2 weeks prior to planting tomatoes. Reapply every 30 days until the tomato plant is finished producing for the season.
