Tools Needed
To apply Monterey Nematode Control, you will need to use a band or broadcast type sprayers.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Monterey Nematode Control to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For ornamentals and listed garden plants, use 8 fl. oz. of Monterey Nematode Control per 6 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For lawns, use 9 fl. oz. of product per 3-7 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Monterey Nematode Control, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the tank lid and shake well before spraying. After mixing with water, apply solution within three hours of mixing.
- Step 3: Irrigate area to be treated before application. Apply the mixture evenly over the soil surface where nematode control is needed. For around trees, apply from tree trunk to dripline to cover at least 50% of soil area or the area under the canopy of the tree, whichever is greatest. After application has been made it may be necessary to water with either drip or above ground sprinklers. Do not water lawn for at least 12 hours following application of this product.
Where to Use
Monterey Nematode Control can be used for listed residential berries, citrus, grapes, nut trees, pome fruit, stone fruit, cole crops, cucurbit vegetables, fruiting vegetables, leafy vegetables, strawberry, subtropical fruits, bulb vegetables, root and tuber vegetables, ornamentals, and lawns.
When to Use
