Monterey Horticultural Oil RTU, manufactured by Monterey, is a effective and versatile insecticide specially formulated to control pests on ornamentals, fruits, and vegetables all the way to the day of harvest.
As a mineral oil based insecticide, this product will naturally kill pests like spider mites, fungus gnats, and thrips by suffocation during the growing and dormant season of plants.
Monterey Horticultural Oil RTU succesfully eliminates a variety of pest, including their eggs on numerous residential plants and trees. Effectively protects trees, flowers, and shrubs without the use of harsh chemicals allowing homeowners to enjoy a thriving interiorscape and household from the nuisances of harmful insects.

How to Use
- Step 1: Shake the Monterey Horticultural Oil RTU well before use.
- Step 2: Completely cover the target pest and plant with spray solution. Do not apply over fruit after waxy bloom form. Do not spray Walnut foliage.
- Step 3: For ornamentals, trees, and shrubs ip to 4 applications of Monterey Horticultural Oil RTU during the growing season are typically sufficient to control pests. Use a 2 week application interval. For hobby greenhouses, use once a week initially. As the listed pest is controlled, decrease the frequency to 2-3 weeks as needed. For interiorscapes and households, do not exceed 3 consecutive applications without allowing a 2-week interval without application.
Where to Use
Monterey Horticultural Oil RTU can be used on listed fruits and vegetables (through harvest day), flowers, ornamentals, and trees and shrubs.
When to Use
Apply Monterey Horticultural Oil RTU during the early evening or early morning when pest activity is first noticed.
Do not spray plants suffering from drought (moisture stress). Do not apply during periods of prolonged high temperature combined with high relative humidity.
Safety Information
Monterey Horticultural Oil RTU is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.
Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.
Special Considerations
Avoid contact with powerful oxidants such as liquid chlorine, concentrated oxygen, sodium hypochlorite, and calcium hypochlorite.
Do not use this product with dimethoate, herbicides or fungicides such as Captan, Folpet, Dyrene, Karathene, Morestan or any product containing sulfur.
Do not use with Sevin 50W formulation (carbaryl) on deciduous fruit trees.
