(M) Gen 3 - Suction Filter

The MistAway Suction Filter is the replacement part for the provided suction filter included with the drum unit. This cover protects the hose and intake from clogging due to the buildup of product or contaminants.

Tools Needed:

There are no tools necessary to replace the suction filter.

How to Use:

• Step 1: Completely drain and clean the drum of any products or residue.
• Step 2: Insert the new filter into the intake hose in the top of the drum unit. Make sure the filter is set snugly and there is no potential for leaks.

Where to Use:

Use the MistAway Suction Filter with any compatible system. We recommend using this filter with the generation 1.3 model.

When to Use:

You should replace a filter when the current one is worn or damaged to the point where it is creating a blockage or not properly filtering out product. This can cause damage to the internal components of the hose and rum mechanics, so it is best to replace as soon as an issue arises.

Safety Information:

Be sure to wear gloves when handling the drum and filter, as there may be residue from chemicals or buildup on the filter. Be sure to properly drain and clean the drum before performing maintenance.

Special Considerations:

Leaving a dysfunctional filter in place in a misting system can lead to serious damage of the internals in the system. If prompt maintenance is not perform it can lead to costly repairs or replacement. A regular maintenance schedule is the best way to catch and prevent potential problems before they become an issue.
