The MistAway 1/4" Plug In Elbow is manufactured by Mistaway and is designed to connect to tee nozzles in order to change the tubing direction in a mosquito misting set up. around various outdoor areas. This part can easily snap in to a tee without an issue. You can also achieve a direction change with a regular tee, short piece of tubing and a regular elbow -- but with the help of these plug-in elbows, extra connections are avoided (along with potential future leak sources). Adding these elbows to your tubing and nozzle set up results in a more professional looking appearance of your misting system nozzle set up.
Tools Needed
To install the MistAway 1/4" Plug In Elbow you won't necessarily need tools for this part as it can easily snap in, but you may need tubing, clamps and tube cutters when making new additions to your existing line.
How to Use
- Step 1: Measure the length of tubing needed and locate the tees where you would like to place the 1/4" Plug In Elbow.
- Step 2: Use the tubing cutter to cut the tubing in the exact area where the 1/4" Plug In Elbow will be fitted.
- Step 3: Put a clamp around the tubing close to the nozzle and elbow and screw it to the surface area to secure the nozzle in place.
