Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil
Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil is a modern oil-based spray adjuvant that helps pesticides better penetrate large and thick wax coated weeds for faster elimination.
04/10/26
Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil, manufactured by Alligare, is a effective methylated seed oil blend adjuvant that keeps agricultural crops, forestry, and industrial settings free of weeds with pesticides being used.
Featuring just the right blend of methylated seed oil and other oils and emulsifiers 100%, this concentrate product creates a boost in products using 2,4-D esters, SU’s and many more.
Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil allows for weeds that have become large, have thick, waxy coatings or are otherwise under stress to be more easily controlled with pesticides being used.
Tools Needed
Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil can be applied with a hose-end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general dry land applications, use 3/4 pint to 6 quarts of Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil per acre depending on conditions and weeds. The lowest rates should be used on weeds with thin wax layers under ideal conditions. Higher doses will be required when stress occurs causing thicker wax layers, if there are large numbers of weeds or with weeds that have naturally thicker waxy cuticles. For aquatic-surface applications, use 16-32 oz. of product 100 gallons of spray solution. For aquatic-submerged applications, use 20-40 oz. of product per 100 gallons of spray solution.
- Step 2: Follow the mixing order on the label of the pesticide. If no order is specified, add Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil after other tank mix additives and pesticides, with good agitation. Do not put water into this product container unless all of the product has been poured out. Then triple rinse the container and pour the rinsate into the mix tank. Then continue adding water.
- Step 3: Spray the solution mixed with Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil as instructed on the label.
Where to Use
Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil can be used on agricultural crops, in forestry applications, in industrial and R.O.W. settings, in pasture and rangeland areas and in T&O or in any non-aquatic application.
When to Use
Apply Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil with pesticides that suggest or require the use of an oil adjuvant to control weeds that have become large, have thick, waxy coatings or are otherwise under stress.
Safety Information
Alligare MSO 1 Modified Seed Oil is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
