MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait is manufactured by Bayer Environmental Science and is an effective bait product for ant control. It is formulated with a sweet blend mixed with the active ingredient Imidacloprid, which lasts for up to 3 months to eliminate ants such as little black ants, crazy ants, and others. MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait is effective both indoors and outdoors to encourage foraging ants to take the bait to their colony killing the queen.
Unlike other ant control products, MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait holds and absorbs moisture making it hard for ants to resist it. This is why the ant bait can also be diluted with sugar water and to treat large outdoor areas for multiple ant colonies or severe infestations. When combating ants, MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait is a great insecticide to have.
Tools Needed
To use Maxforce Quantum Bait, you will need a tool to open the tip of the applicator, such as a knife or scissors. This product comes with 10 bait stations.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate areas where ant trails are seen and where the MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait can be applied. Once active sites have been located, calculate the square footage of the area you wish to treat by measuring (in feet) the area length and width and multiplying the two values (length x width = square footage). The bait can be applied at a rate of 2.0 grams per 100 sq. ft. of floor space. For example, you can apply ten 0.2-gram bait placements in 100 sq. ft. kitchen.
- Step 2: Open the tube and cut the tip off to allow gel to come out. Squeeze the tube and apply the gel bait to each desired location or in bait station. It is suggested to apply the MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait in cracks and crevices and other small holes where ants travel.
- Step 3: Inspect areas you have placed bait and reapply as often as needed until ant activity ceases or every 3 months for continued protection.
Where to Use
MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait can be used indoors or outdoors that is not accessible to pets or children and applied to non-food areas. It will control various ants found in warehouses, commercial buildings and residential areas.
For maximum results, apply ant bait in cracks and crevices or wall voids near ant trails. MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait can be applied around baseboards, cabinets, trash cans, sinks, behind wall sockets, around doors, windows, under or behind appliances. For outdoor areas, it can be applied around porches, in weep hole and other areas where ants find their way inside homes and building structures.
When to Use
MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait can be used any time ants trails and activity is seen. It can be applied as often as needed, and each application will remain effective for up to 12 weeks.
