The Solutions Commercial Spray Gun is a JD9-style gun manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn, and is a high-pressure spray gun meant for use with professional skid sprayers and spraying rigs. This JD9-style gun is adjustable, spraying either a pin stream to hollow cone fan spray to a fine mist. It also features an easy to use trigger lock for continuous spraying and has a drip-free shut-off. The gun also has a machined aluminum handle to make it light and is made of stainless steel and nickel-plated brass parts for longevity.
The Solutions JD9-style gun works with all types of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers, and is ideal for small tree spraying, perimeter control of insects, lawn-care chemical application, and various other jobs where high volume, high-pressure spraying is needed.
Tools Needed
To use the Solution JD9-style Pesticide Spray Gun, you will need the appropriate adapters to attach the gun to your spray rig. This JD9-style gun's grip features a 1/2 inch female end, requiring applicators to use either a 1/2 inch male plug for use with Hanson or quick-connect heads, or a 1/2 inch hose barb with a 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch connection.
How to Use
- Step 1: Attach The Solutions JD9-style Pesticide Spray Gun to your pesticide sprayer. Connect the gun to the hose by inserting the male plug on the gun if using a quick connect fitting. If you are using a hose barb, screw the barb into the gun until tight.
- Step 2: Insert the opposite side of the barb into your hose, and clamp the hose around the barb for a tight seal. The size of your hose will determine the size barb you will need.
- Step 2: Power up your spraying rig and adjust the spray setting to your desired setting by twisting the adjuster body. Then aim and spray at your target area. Use a pin stream to reach higher points such as high up on a tree. Adjust the sprayer body to the fan spray setting for more coverage and a wider spray.
Where to Use
The Solutions JD9-style gun is an effective pesticide applicator and can be used for spraying pesticides on turf, greenhouses, nurseries and general plant spraying. It is also great for spraying trees and shrub and for general pest control or lawn care.
When to Use
Because of its adjustable spray patterns and ability to be used with different nozzle tips, The Solutions JD9-style Pesticide Spray Gun is ideal for small tree spraying, perimeter control, lawn and turf broadcast applications, and various other jobs where high volume, high-pressure spraying is needed.

The Solutions JD9-style Pesticide Spray Gun is safe to use when applying pesticide properly according to product labels. Also, be sure to wear proper PPE before spraying (gloves, protective eyewear, safety mask, etc.)
