Isoxaben 75WG, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is designed for the pre-emergent control of broadleaf weeds on turf grass.

This easy to mix product comes in the form of water-dispersible granules that must be thoroughly and uniformly mixed in water and applied as a spray. Isoxaben can deliver up to 8 months of selective pre-emergent control of broadleaf weeds with a single application.

Isoxaben's performance is proven on both cool and warm-season turfgrass and in the ornamental, landscape, and nursery markets. If you're dealing with pesky broadleaf weeds on your property, stop them before they germinate with Isoxaben.

Tools Needed

To use Isoxaben 75WG you will need to mix the product into a sprayer of your choosing such as a backpack, hose-end or hand-pump sprayer. For the average job a hand-pump gallon sprayer works best.

How to Use

Isoxaben 75WG treatment

  • Step 1: Determine how much Isoxaben 75WG you will need to mix by first calculating the size of the area you wish to treat and based on that information mix the appropriate amount of packets to water in a hand-pump sprayer. Measure (in feet) and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). For spot treatment using Isoxaben 75WG mix at a rate of 0.25 to 0.50 oz. per gallon of water to treat 1,000 square feet.
  • Step 2: Fill a hand sprayer halfway with water and then add the appropriate amount of Isoxaben based on your calculations. Shake the sprayer and then fill with the remaining half of the required amount of water. Agitate the sprayer until the solution is well-mixed.
  • Step 3: Broadcast the spray over your entire lawn, making sure to get even coverage via fan spray setting. After application, water the product in with rainfall or sprinkler irrigation of 0.5 inches or more. If not immediate, then irrigate treated areas at least within 21 days after first application.

Where to Use

Use Isoxaben 75WG Herbicide in established cool-seasoned and warm-seasoned turf grasses, landscape ornamentals, container-grown ornamentals, field-grown ornamentals, ground covers/perennials, ornamental bulbs, non-bearing fruit and nut trees, non-bearing vineyards, Christmas tree/conifer plantations, and non-cropland areas.

When to Use

Use Isoxaben 75WG in the early spring and fall to stop weed germination before it starts. Timing is crucial because if the weed has already sprung up, applying Isoxaben 75WG will be ineffective.

Safety Information

Isoxaben 75WG is safe to use around chidren and pets when applied according to the product lable instruction. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not enter or allow others and pets to enter treated areas until 12 hours have passed after application.

Special Considerations

Isoxaben 75WG is stable on the soil surface for up to 21 days, but it must be incorporated by moisture to be effective. If it is not activated by water within 21 days of application, erratic weed control may result.
