Hose Bib Y Adapter

The Hose Bib Y Adapter is an authentic part manufactured by MistAway and is a replacement hose bib for the Generation 3 MistAway Misting Systems. This is a nice optional part to have if you would like to share the faucet that the Gen 3's water line is connected to with a garden hose.

Tools Needed:

To replace this part you will need at least a wrench of appropriate size.

How to Use:

• Step 1:  Disconnect the water supply going into the water line and then use a wrench to detatch the old hose bib from your misting system.
• Step 2: Attach the new Hose Bib Y Adapter in its place with a valve on each leg, making sure the seal is tight to prevent any leaks.
• Step 3: Insert 3/8″ line into faucet adapter, then measure and cut tubing. Run water to the flush line before connecting to filter port marked "IN".

Where to Use:

The Hose Bib Y Adapter is an optional part used specifically for MistAway Gen III (3) Mosquito Misting System with a tankless unit.

When to Use:

Use the Hose Bib Y Adapter when the provided hose bib has become damaged, is leaking, or is worn down so that it needs replacement. This Y modification allows you to share the faucet connected to the MistAway with a garden hose.

Safety Information:

Remember to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when cleaning and replacing components of your misting system. There could be leftover chemical residue or buildup in and around the components.

Special Considerations:

This product is made for MistAway misting systems, and may not fit or work properly in other similar Mosquito Misting systems.
