Cyzmic CS Insecticide is formulated by Control Solutions Inc. and is designed to kill a wide range of common household insects. The encapsulated formula has thin and thick walls surrounding the active ingredient to provide a controlled release effect. The droplets that have a thick encapsulation help provide long-term effects while the thin walls provide a quick knockdown.
Cyzmic CS Insecticide is great for killing insects on turf, lawns and ornamental gardens. It can also be applied indoors as a crack-and-crevice treatment. Cyzmic CS Insecticide has a low odor, making it ideal for sensitive areas. Cyzmic CS is great as a preventative and quick knockdown method when combating the toughest insects like ants, fleas, and roaches. Cyzmic CS is also great for use on bagworms.
Tools Needed
To apply Cyzmic CS, a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or skid sprayer is needed. We recommend using a handheld pump sprayer for indoor crack-and-crevice treatments.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before applying any product, calculate the square footage of the area you want to treat to determine how much Cyzmic CS you will need to mix. You can do this by multiplying the length and width together (length x width = square footage). This will determine the amount of product you will need to use. The mix rate will vary depending on whether you are treating for specific pests or perimeter treatment. You will mix between 0.2 and 0.8 fluid ounces of Cyzmic per gallon of water. Each mixture should treat 1,000 square feet.
- Step 2: After calculating the amount of Cyzmic you need, you can create a solution. Fill your spray tank with a half gallon of water. Add the measured amount of Cyzmic, then pour the remaining half gallon of water into the tank. Close the container and shake well to finish making your solution.
- Step 3: Once you've diluted Cyzmic in water, you can apply your solution. For best results, apply thoroughly until wet, but not to the point of runoff. A coarse, low-pressure spray setting is recommended for best results. For indoor applications, Cyzmic can be reapplied every 21 days as needed.
Where to Use
Cyzmic CS Insecticide is ideal for use in residential, commercial and industrial areas. It can be applied outdoors as a perimeter treatment and applied to flowerbeds, turfs, and lawns. Cyzmic CS is a great crack-and-crevice or spot treatment for indoor or outdoor use.
Cyzmic CS Insecticide can be applied around window sills, eaves of roofs, on porches, patios, under crawl spaces, doorways, along baseboards, inside kitchen or bathroom cabinets, under appliances and other label approved areas. It can be used in schools, stores, factories, warehouses, and other nonfood/nonfeed areas. It is also ideal to use in transportation equipment such as trucks, trailers, aircraft, and busses.
When to Use
Cyzmic CS Insecticide can be used as a preventative treatment and sprayed before insect activity is evident. It can also be used as a quick knockdown and applied after insect activity is found. Cyzmic CS is great to use when sensitive areas need treatment because it has a low odor. Do not apply Cyzmic CS during rainy weather, as it will weaken the effects.
Safety Information
Cyzmic CS Insecticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying Cyzmic CS. This product is toxic to fish and bees. Do not apply Cyzmic near bodies of water or areas where bees are active.
