Cyper WSP Insecticide
04/10/26
Cyper WSP Insecticide is manufactured by Control Solutions Inc., and is a water-soluble powder synthetic pyrethroid insecticide designed to control over 30 different insects. It is a powder made with the powerful active ingredient, Cypermethrin, that comes in packets that dissolve in water. The pre-measured Cyper WSP Insecticide packets make the mixing process quick and easy without the mess. The pre-measured packets are dropped into a spray tank and dissolve to make an insecticide spray.
Cyper WSP works on contact and is safe to use indoors as a spot, crack and crevice spray, and outdoors as a spot and surface spray to control for spiders, ants, aphids, chinch bugs, mosquitoes, and more.
Tools Needed
To apply Cyper WSP Insecticide, a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer or skid sprayer is needed. When making spot treatments or applying Cyper WSP to cracks and crevices, we suggest using a handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Cyper WSP you will need by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure and multiply the area width times the length (length x width = square footage.) 1 packet of Cyper WSP can treat between 800 to 1,600 sq. ft. when mixed between 1 to 5 gallons of water. So for example, if you measured 1,500 sq. ft. to treat, you would need 1 packet in at least 1 gallon of water.
- Step 2: For general applications made with a handheld pump sprayer, fill the spray tank halfway with 1/2 gallon of water. The targeted insect will determine the number of packets to use, for most insects, drop 1 water soluble packet into the spray tank and wait a few minutes for the packet to dissolve. Shake the spray tank to mix well and add then add the other 1/2 gallon of water and shake the spray tank. You are now ready to spray.
- Step 3: Begin applying Cyper WSP on cracks and crevices indoors and outdoors. Once the product dries, the powder is left on the surface as a residue. Periodically shake the spray tank while making applications. Re-apply every 60 days for total control of listed insects.
Where to Use
Cyper WSP Insecticide is ideal for indoor and outdoor use for residential, commercial and industrial areas. For indoor use, apply it as a cracks and crevice treatment or as a spot treatment around baseboards, window sills, door frames, under cabinets, sinks, appliances, and in corners. For outdoor use, Cyper WSP Insecticide can be applied to exterior walls, on porches, under crawl spaces, on lawns, turfs, and in the crack and crevices around windows, doors, eves of roofs, and soffit.
When to Use
Cyper WSP Insecticide can be used as a preventative treatment to keep targeted insects from coming indoors as it creates a powerful residual barrier. It also provides an efficient knockdown and can be applied after label listed insect activity is noticed. This is ideal in the springtime when pest activity is highest or around the fall when temperatures start to drop and pests look to go indoors for warmth. Apply on calm days when rain is not on the immediate forecast
Safety Information
Cyper WSP is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying Cyper WSP Insecticide. Do not enter treated areas until dry, which can take from 3 to 4 hours depending on the area treated.
Special Considerations
Use Cyper WSP Insecticide as a crack and crevice or spot treatment only when applied to indoor areas. One 4x9.5 inch packet contains 4 0.33 oz. soluble packets. One 1 pound bucket contains 49 packets.
