Cascade Aquatic Herbicide
Cascade Aquatic Herbicide is a professional-grade, contact herbicide that effectively controls submersed weeds in irrigation canals.
04/12/26
Cascade Aquatic Herbicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is a powerful long-term solution for professionals looking to maintain pristine irrigation canal systems by elminating submerged aquatic weeds.
This concentrated aquatic herbicide is formulated with the active ingredient Dipotassium salt of endothall 40.3%, which is known for its efficiency in killing weeds like pondweed and hydrilla.
Cascade Aquatic Herbicide is an excellent non-selective herbicide that targets aquatic weeds upon contact and long after application for 12-16 weeks. Once applied, it will offer weed-free irrigation canals while being safe for the environment
Tools Needed
To use Cascade Aquatic Herbicide, you will need a backpack sprayer, spray rig, or injection equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Measure the size and depth of body of water to determine how much Cascade Aquatic Herbicide you will need. To determine acre-feet volume, measure the length, width, and depth of the waterbody, and then divide by 43,560 (length x width x depth / 43,560 = acre-feet). For surface or injection applications to quiscent or slow-moving waters use 0.45 to 3.2 gallons of Cascade Aquatic Herbicide per acre ft depending on the weed you are trying to control. For ponds and lakes with little to no outflow, apply 1.25 gallons of product per acre ft. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Spray the Cascade Aquatic Herbicide directly to the perimeter or in multiple locations around the perimeter of the water body.
Where to Use
Cascade Aquatic Herbicide can be used in irrigation systems and other flowing water aquatic sites and quiescent, or slow moving waters.
Do not use this product in brackish or saltwater.
When to Use
Apply Cascade Aquatic Herbicide in the early spring when weeds are actively growing with a minimum of 24 hours contact time.
Safety Information
Cascade Aquatic Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
