Arilon Insecticide is manufactured by Syngenta and is an effective broad-spectrum insecticide for treating a wide range of common household pests. Arilon is a non-repellent formula so insects won't be able to detect it, so they don't avoid it.

The active ingredient in Arilon is indoxacarb and can affect insects in as quickly as 24 hours, allowing enough time for exposes insects to exchange with insects that didn't come into contact with the product for maximum results. It is formulated as a concentrated dry granule that is water-soluble so it can be easily mixed and applied.

Tools Needed

To use Arilon Insecticide you will need a pump sprayer or for larger jobs, a backpack sprayer.

How to Use

perimeter treatment

  • Step 1: To figure out how much Arilon you need, you will need to determine the treatment area. To do this, multiply length x width to get the total square footage to be treated. Arilon treatments done indoors should be applied at a rate of 0.33 oz (1 packet) per 1000 square feet in a gallon of water. For exterior use with a backpack or other hand sprayer, 1–4 gal per 1,000 sq ft is recommended. If you have a 5,000 square foot area to be treated, you would need 1.66 oz of Arilon mixed with 5 gallons of water.
  • Step 2: Since Arilon is a dry wettable powder that comes in measured 0.33 oz packets, it is important to add the chemical to water. To mix, you will put water in your sprayer, then add the appropriate amount of packets to the sprayer and shake it up.
  • Step 3: Apply the Arilon mixture to the target treatment areas via a pin stream setting on your sprayer nozzle. Focus on cracks and crevices in wall voids, cabinets. points of entry and similar areas. Outdoors, you should form a barrier around your home or building's perimeter.

Arilon Insecticide can be applied round single and multi-family residential buildings; schools; institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities (including warehouses, apartments, supermarkets, restaurants, motels, hotels, hospitals, daycares, and food-handling/storage/processing establishments); and transportation equipment, such as aircraft, trains, ships, boats, and buses
