Advion Cockroach Gel Bait

Advion Cockroach Gel Bait, from Syngenta, is a cockroach gel bait with the active ingredient Indoxacarb. Advion Cockroach Bait can be used indoors and outdoors to control German and other common roach species. It is easy to apply and is safe for use in even the most sensitive of application sites.

This product is formulated with an effective cockroach bait matrix that is designed to be effective on the toughest cockroaches, including German cockroaches and American cockroaches.

Advion Cockroach Gel Bait offers a slow-kill so that cockroaches who feed on the bait will have enough time to share and spread the bait amongst the colony. This creates a cascading effect that will kill roach popluations quickly and efficiently.

Tools Needed

There are no tools needed to use Advion Cockroach Bait as it comes in a ready to use bait applicator. 

How To Use: 

• Step 1: Identify the cockroach to be sure it is one on the label, once determined that it is then you will need to thoroughly inspect the infested area to determine what areas you need to apply pea-sized drops of the bait.
• Step 2: Sanitize area removing all potential food sources. Go over surfaces again with water and a rag to make sure there are no chemicals on the surface. This makes sure the bait is the roaches' focus.
• Step 3: Apply pea-sized dots in areas the insects frequent. For heavy infestations, apply 3 to 5 spots every 10 linear feet. For light infestations, place 1 to 2 dots every 10 linear feet. Place the dots of bait behind your refrigerator, along your baseboards, in cracks and crevices and along corners and anywhere else you have noticed activity.
• Step 4: Check the bait at least once a month and repeat the process as needed.

Where to use:

Advion Cockroach bait can be safely applied indoors and outdoors if needed. Focus baiting areas in the kitchen, bathrooms, cabinets, underneath kitchen appliances, drawers, under sinks, in weep holes, and other entry points to the house.

When to use: 

Apply Advion Cockroach Bait when you need to control cockroaches in residential, institutional, commercial and industrial areas. 

Safety Information:

Advion Cockroach Bait is safe to apply when done so according to label directions. Apply bait in areas that children and pets cannot reach. When applying it is very important to wear long sleeves, gloves, and eye protection to prevent injury.

Special Considerations

Advion Roach Gel Bait contains the active ingredient Indoxacarb which allows cockroaches to consume the bait without killing them instantly and take to their harborage sites to contaminate the other roaches. That being said, it can take some time to really see a significant result because of the slow-acting poison. Repeated applications may be necessary especially if you have a heavy infestation.
