Abamectin 0.15 EC Miticide
04/10/26
Abamectin 0.15 EC is made by Quali-Pro is an effective miticide that delivers long-lasting control of plant eating insects. Abamectin 0.15 EC works through contact to keep mites, aphids, thrips and whiteflies off of your plants and ornamentals. It is an emulsifiable concentrate that is easy to mix and apply without harming your plant life.
Tools Needed
To use Abamectin 0.15 EC Miticide you will need either a hose end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or professional spray rig. For smaller sized residential treatments, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon pump sprayer or a 4-gallon backpack sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Abamectin 0.15 EC you will need by calculating the square footage of the area you will be treating. You can do this by multiplying the length times width (length x with = square footage). The labeled rate for Abamectin 0.15 EC is 4 to 8 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water per acre. For small treatments, use 0.04 to 0.08 fl. oz. per gallon to treat 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer halfway with the required amount of water and then add the appropriate measured amount of Abamectin 0.15 EC. Fill the sprayer with the remaining half of water. Shake well to ensure the product is properly agitated and mixed.
- Step 3: Apply the product according to labeled directions in the areas where you are having pest infestations. Completely cover foliage just before the point of run off. If spraying a tree, treat stems and trunks up to 10 feet from the ground. You can use a coarse spray, drench, or broadcast.
- Step 4: Repeat application once a week for 3 weeks and then rotate to another insecticide with a different mode of action for 3 weeks for continued control.
Where to Use
Abamectin 0.15 EC Miticide is meant to only be for outdoor use to control pests around shrubs, gardens and turf. You can treat areas outside of residences, greenhouses, on Christmas trees, woody ornamentals anywhere you have insects that are doing damage to outdoor plants.
When to Use
Use Abamectin 0.15 EC Miticide upon recognizing a mite infestation around your yard or if you notice flower or plant damage. This is typically around the spring and summer months when pest activity is very high.
